We awoke fully rested after that big bottle at les Vapeurs. We went for a walk after breakfast to look for a sweater store that Alexandria has visited on previous trips and where she had bought several of her collection of beautiful sweaters. We walked the entire length of the quai Fernand Moureaux, the street that runs along the mouth of the river and is the main street of Trouville. We couldn't find it. We asked in the Tourist Office and we were told that the store had closed. How sad!
We loaded the car and started out for the almost 400 kilometer trip, about 41/2 hours, to the small resort of Trinité sur Mer, which is located on the southern coast of Brittany. We stopped.once for a potty break and got to our hotel, Le Lodge Kerisper. We were delighted find a small, 20 room, hotel tucked away on a small side street up the hill a bit from the port area.

Each room was different (we saw four or five), each having its own charm. Our room, number 9, was simply, but tastefully, decorated. There was plenty of storage space, two comfortable beds, and a suitable bathroom. In the lodge, there was an out-door, but heated, pool, a very comfortable lounge, a bright cheery breakfast room, and outside a deck for outdoor lounging, a garden with tables and chairs, several apple trees and several pear trees. All the trees had ripe fruit that guests were free to pick.
We had our aperatif in the lodge lounge and then went down to the port area where we had dinner in a bistrot, one of the few restaurants open at this time of year. We also discovered that a number were closed for either Mon-Tues or Tues-Wed.
